CRISIS MANAGEMENT

A major producer of Liquid Natural Gas contracted to supply LNG to several of the "Tiger" economies in South East Asia was recommended to initiate a Crisis Management programme concerning its operation.

Consultants undertook field research, examined the corporate policy of the partners - operating in three continents - and produced intial working documentation, subsequently authorised and introduced by the management of the company. This comprehensive work demanded an high level of commmitment by both the clients' representatives and the Consultants.

Regular audits, rehearsals and training schedules continue.

The entire process was satisfactorily tested during the recent economic melt-down in Aisa when all expatriate staff were evacuated to safety together with their families. Business Continuance was sustained within a few hours, in a new country utilising pre-determined premises, equipment and local resources as researched during the all too essential preparation and rehearsal phase undertaken when circumstances were calm and uninterrupted.

COMPUTER SECURITY ADVICE

We have supported a number of International Lotteries in the evaluation of the security systems they have in place to protect their business. This has involved system design and testing, penetration testing, business continuity design, training and testing. Additionally we provide support in Corporate Social Responsibility activities relating to under age and excessive gambling, retailer fraud and supply chain reviews.

EMPLOYEES MISUSING OF EMPLOYER'S COMPUTER

We were able to prove an employee had been running an ebay business from work on his laptop despite him denying this.

FORENSIC COMPUTER ANALYSIS

We discovered deficient access controls in a property company which resulted in it being hacked and in the process losing two deals worth £30M. We resolved this security issue.

TRADING STANDARDS

We have supported the forensic investigation of a traders' computer systems. The evidence chain commenced with a joint operation between the local police and ourselves seizing equipment and removing it to our premises for full examination. The case related to VAT and similar fraud activities. Our work successfully identified trading in counterfeit goods and non declaration of income.

CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

We have conducted the detailed forensic analysis of a number of systems seized by various Police Forces to identify access, storage and distribution of inappropriate material including paedophilic material. The results have been used by the police in their successful prosecution the system owners. All evidence is gathered under ACPO guidelines.
